Robert Kettle Soccer School
Founded in 1991, the Robert Kettle Soccer School was created to provide resident soccer camps to youth soccer players, 8-17 years old. For 17 years, camps have been held during the summer months at various locations in Texas. In 2008, we will also hold the "Eagles Soccer Camp" at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.

Mission
Robert Kettle Soccer School is dedicated to the education and development of male and female soccer players at all levels of playing experience and ability.

Method
Campers are divided into small groups by age and ability in order to be appropriately challenged. Each

group is assigned a professional coach for intense soccer training and instruction. At the end of camp, each player receives a written evaluation of their skills and performance.

Campers attend 3 soccer sessions a day, where all components of soccer (technique, tactics and fitness) are covered. We use the “Games Approach To Teaching” as recommended by the United States Soccer Federation and the English Football Association. Match-Related and Match-Condition small-sided games require that campers learn to make correct decisions and perform under pressure.

Environment - Emphasis on Camper Safety
More important than presenting our camp details or explaining our training methods, is the information we would like to share regarding camper safety. Above and beyond all other aspects of our program, the safety and security of campers is our number one consideration. That is why we provide the following to campers and parents:

17 Years of Experience translates to an established, well-run program giving us the knowledge and expertise to handle any situation.
Athletic Trainer is present on and off the field, medically trained to treat injuries and address health concerns/problems. Water and ice are supplied during all training sessions.
24 Hour On-Site Supervision by the coaches who monitor campers on the field, in the dorm/dining facilities and during all extracurricular activities.
Staff Orientation/Training is mandatory for all RKSS coaches. Staff are specially trained to handle camper problems or concerns (e.g. homesickness, personality conflicts, etc.).
